Measuring wrong is the most common reason an appliance goes back. If you are not sure, text us the dimensions of your space and we will check them against the unit before you commit.
Text us your measurementsCount bottles, not cubic feet. Capacity is quoted in standard Bordeaux bottles, and a rack that holds twelve of those holds fewer wide Burgundy or champagne bottles.
A built-in unit vents through the front and can sit under a counter. A freestanding one vents at the back and needs air behind it — boxing one into cabinetry is how they end up running hot and failing.
Dual-zone means two independently set compartments, for reds and whites at different temperatures. Single-zone is one setting throughout, which is fine if you drink mostly one or the other.

Check the door swing and whether it is reversible before you decide which side of the run it goes on.
Count bottles rather than cubic feet, and count the ones you actually keep at home. Capacity is quoted in standard Bordeaux bottles; wide Burgundy and champagne bottles take more room, so a rack rated for 24 of the first holds noticeably fewer of the second. If you entertain, buy a size up.
It depends on what has come through the warehouse, and this page is the honest answer at any moment — nothing is listed unless it is on the floor. A dual-zone unit has two independently set compartments, for reds and whites at different temperatures; a single-zone unit is one setting throughout.
Only if it is a built-in model. A built-in vents through the front grille and can sit under a counter; a freestanding unit vents at the back and needs clear air behind it, and boxing one of those into a cabinet is how it ends up running warm and failing early. Every listing says which it is.
Reds generally sit around 55–65°F and whites around 45–50°F, which is the reason dual-zone units exist. A single-zone cooler held near 55°F is a reasonable compromise if you keep both. Each unit is checked for cooling before it is listed.
A scratch & dent appliance is a unit with cosmetic damage but no functional defect. The damage usually happens in shipping, in a warehouse, or on a showroom floor — a dented side panel, a scratched door, or scuffed trim. The appliance still works as designed. Because retailers cannot sell a marked unit at full price, it is sold at a discount.
1-year warranty options are available on qualifying appliances. Coverage is not automatic on every unit and terms vary by appliance, so ask about warranty options for the specific unit you are buying before you complete the purchase.
